# The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - Parent Guide
This fantasy action film features extensive battle sequences with strong violence including sword fights, explosions, and deaths. While the PG-13 rating allows children 13+, younger children may find the intense combat scenes disturbing. The mild language and sexual content are less concerning than the sustained action violence throughout.
